Nick Maccarone

Nick Maccarone is an actor, writer, and assistant professor in the School of Theatre at Florida State University. He received his MFA from Columbia University and has performed in feature films, popular television shows, and some of the country's top regional theaters, including the Alley and Guthrie. His passion for community outreach work has taken him to orphanages in Nepal, South Africa, and Haiti. Nick is also a two-time TEDx speaker, world traveler, and former contributing writer to Backstage Magazine.
Kristen Hansen

With a Masters in acting from Rutgers University, Kristen Hansen is making her feature film directing debut with “Sonny Boy”. She was a featured participant for Project Greenlight and has directed countless short films including: “Already Gone” (Jury Prize Winner), “ Reflections” (Award Winning), “ Flesh” (Award Winning), “Adored”, “Wings”, and “The Violet Hour”. Other work include webseries: “Keeping It 100”, currently seen on Amazon Prime, and series “I Will Love”. Music Videos include: “Progress”, by Francisco The Man, and “Life Without Love”, by Leslie Jones. Currently she is also developing a comic book for her short film “Wake”, that will be released in 2020.
Peter Howell

Peter G Howell has been working as a DP for over a decade. He began his career in New York City, but has had the opportunity to work across the country on a wide variety of projects in narrative, documentary, commercial and reality that has given him a diverse set of skills working at all levels of production. These diverse experiences have led to Pete's unique vision and skillset which coupled with his collaborative nature, tireless work ethic, and creative and technical expertise make him a great match for the Sonny Boy team.
Katie Oliver

Katie Oliver is an actress and filmmaker originally from Detroit. She started her own production company, Pink Clubhouse Productions 3 years ago. Her mission is to support female-created content and has produced 6 total projects under this company thus far, the most recent being a web series called “KEEPING IT 100: The Series”, which featured an all female team of producers, director, main cast, director of photography and sound. She has received two Best Actress awards for her work in short films 'Downriver' and 'Life at the End of Earth', as well as Best Actress Runner Up for 'Night Fighters.'.
